Fodor's Expert Review The Fullerton Hotel
1 Fullerton Sq., Singapore, Central Singapore, 049178, Singapore
After an extensive renovation, Singapore's former General Post Office reopened as a hotel in 2001, with many historic details intact. A gallery in the lobby and black-and-white photos throughout the hotel pay tribute to its past. The central location means that you’ll be within walking distance of many of the top sights. The rooms facing Marina Bay offer views of the nightly laser-light show; the infinity pool overlooks preserved shophouses in Boat Quay. The restaurants here include Jade (serving Chinese), the Lighthouse (Italian), and the Courtyard, which serves a chocolate buffet on weekends.
