You have a choice of hotel rooms or cozy cottages at this resort complex, with the lake in front and the mountains of Koma-ga-take in back. The Japanese-style Ryu-gu-den annex, which overlooks the lake and has its own thermal bath, is superb, and rustic-style cottages sleep three to four guests and are open only from mid-April to November.
