Fodor's Expert Review Lassiwallah
Across the street from Niros restaurant is the well known Lassiwallah—on the periphery of a long chain of imposters, the real thing can only be found under the sign "Kishan Lal Govind Narayan Agarwal." It opens early in the morning and on occasion you may have to wait behind a line of locals waiting to get their daily glass of lassi. Served in disposable red-clay cups (which means they haven't been washed with unclean water), the delicious lassis come with a dash of hard cream on top, and are available in medium and large sizes. As with any street food, there's no absolute guarantee it is hygienic but the popularity of the place (they sometime sell out by 3) should reassure you.
