The hole-in-the-wall Saravana Inn, in the main town, serves South Indian delights—dosa, idli, wada, sambar—at great prices in simple surroundings. Although locals do call this Saravana Bhavan, it's not a branch of the popular international, Chennai-based chain. Still, the South Indian vegetarian fare here is undeniably good.
