Fodor's Expert Review The Sanctum Spring Beach Resort

The nicest hotel on Varkala's Cliff, Sanctum Spring offers modest rooms at decent prices, with spectacular views of the Arabian Sea. There's a neatly kept garden in front of the hotel. While the hotel, a long white building with red tile turrets, is not very memorable for its looks, the rooms are decently big and comfortably furnished. Varkala beach is a 10-minute walk away. Meals can be had in the hotel's two multi-cuisine restaurants, but beyond the hotel's gates you will be spoiled for what you can sample at the seafood stalls that pop up during the high season.
