Quieter and even closer to the water than its neighboring sister property, Somatheeram Beach Resort, Manaltheeram is quite charming. Its simple, circular brick cottages are neatly arrayed on ascending terraces—the rooms inside are small, with red oxide floors. "Special" cottages have better sea views.
