Fodor's Expert Review Van's
In the elegant setting of the beautifully restored 1880's Indochina Bank Building, next to the post office, you can dine on exquisite French cuisine. Walk past the old vaults, and up to the colonnaded dining area on the first floor. Dishes such as duck confit paupiette with duck liver, or fillet of grouper with a matelote sauce are popular. There are business-lunch specials for a reasonable $20 for a three-course meal. Van's also has a swanky cocktail bar-lounge on the roof terrace above the restaurant.
