Dubai Marina

Dubai Marina's 50 million square feet of man-made marina changed the face of the southern end of Jumeirah Beach. It's the heart and soul of "New Dubai," almost a city in itself. The marina stretches around curves of man-made lakes, lined with high rises, swanky hotels, and million-dollar yachts. The area also includes the beachfront JBR (Jumeirah Beach Residence), home to a forest of sandy-color towers, two shopping zones, and public beaches. To the north it stretches across the Mina Seyahi area just before the trunk of Palm Jumeirah, and the south provides distant views of the industrial towers and smoke stacks of Jebel Ali and its very productive free zone area. Just across a metro bridge from the marina is Jumeirah Lakes Towers, an area known for great value serviced apartments and high-quality home-grown eateries.
