Fodor's Expert Review Bodega
On the huge veranda of a historic barn, a languid air of well-fed ease wafts around Bodega. Happy children run around on the lawn against the backdrop of jagged mountains, and the vibe is casual all the way. An enormous blackboard announces the tapas options: lovely bite sizes of mussels, hake, nasi goreng (Indonesian fried rice), and meatballs are just some of the options. Alternately choose from the menu; the daily line fish is succulent and well dressed, the pastas are perfectly flavored, and the beef fillet is a dream. Desserts are fantastic, so save space. In summer, Sunday lunch should be booked a week in advance; the rest of the week can be calmer. Come early, as the restaurant closes at 5 pm.
