Fodor's Expert Review Tsitsikamma Village Inn

The guest rooms here are in pretty, colorful buildings that are neatly arranged around a village green, and the public rooms are in an old hunting lodge built in 1888. The inn is well known for its restaurant—De Oude Martha ($)—which was named after the hotel's first cook; though she has retired, her influence lingers. Food is mostly dependable standbys such as grilled line fish, calamari, chicken, steaks, and pastas. Their most popular dish is a traditional Malay lamb curry with dried apricots.
