About the Restaurants

Much of this tiny island nation’s food is imported. Seafood, pork, beans, corn, bananas, and hot spices are prominent. Bat stew is a delicacy here, and palm wine is considered the national drink, but restaurants are unlikely to serve either. Instead, look for African, Italian, fusion, and international dishes. Seafood is especially popular, and grilled selections are hard to beat.
