Fodor's Expert Review La Fabrique

Owners Nicolas and Christine Samet have cleverly combined French cuisine with New York design to create this industrial-style two-story restaurant. The ground floor has leather couches and bar stools, perfect for a pre-meal aperitif, while upstairs the traditional French chef serves courses such mince of lamb confit Provençale, Burgundy snails, and tonka-bean-and-chestnut cake. There's a different special every day. After 8 pm, the place gets a bit quieter and a lot more romantic.
