Fodor's Expert Review Le Jardin
Building on the success of his Café des Épices, Moroccan entrepreneur Kamal Laftimi has sprouted another high-quality culinary pit stop in the heart of the souks. Fresh local produce is displayed in a market stall at the entrance to this renovated 16th-century building. The central courtyard and salons are tiled in mint green with banana trees shading the tables, and a chilled-out retro vibe pervades the air. The menu features classic Moroccan dishes, but there are plenty of options for vegetarians and pescaterians and some delicious desserts. Head to the terrace for comfortable seating. No alcohol is served.
