Fodor's Review

Selling treats for the young and young at heart, De Karina was founded by a third-generation chocolatier from Argentina. Try the Mount Hermon—milk-chocolate cones topped by white-chocolate "snow." Call in advance for factory tours and chocolate-making workshops.

Bad Experience. Do Not Recommend!

Today I went to the De Karina factory tour and had bad experience. I went there with a teen youth group excited to make chocolate. When we got to the chocolate making part of the tour I decided to make a chocolate bar that said on it the name of my youth group. They did not allow me to do so and just took the chocolate mold right out of my hand with out asking for it. Then my head counselor gave me a new mold to make my chocolate bar. When they

saw I had a new one they ripped it straight out of my hand again and then they kicked me out. While I was waiting outside for the rest of my group to finish they came to apologize to me but it did not make up for getting kicked out and getting my chocolate bar taken away from me twice. Over all I had a vey bad experience with De Karina chocolate factory. I do not recommend taking any groups there.
