Nahalat Binyamin 27, Tel Aviv, Israel

Why We Like It

Luxury, comfort, history and design -- this beautiful property has it all, while never letting its good looks or ideal location go to its head. The Nordoy is one of Tel Aviv's best hotels and shows what the best boutique properties can be when they put their mind to it.

This blushing pink lady of a hotel rises over Nachalat Binyamin street and offers charm and style from the moment you walk in her doors. With refined furnishings, warm service and a beautiful, historic location, every detail of this sweet boutique hotel strikes just the right note.

Each room offers a warm blend of vintage and modern design elements, including burnished hardwood floors, industrial-style light bulbs, arched windows and edgy photography. All rooms are spacious with extra seating, and most include a work desk.

YOU SHOULD KNOW There is some street noise from Nachalat Binyamin street, including modern construction sounds, so if you're a light sleeper, request a room away from the street.

Bright white marble and Ahava Dead Sea bath products bring special touches to the clean and charming bath.

Good things come in small packages: The tight little indoor lobby opens into a green outdoor patio, where there's an espresso machine, champagne, tea and fruit at all hours, as well as a collection of small brass bells in a nod to the Nordoy's historic bell tower on its roof.

Massage treatments are offered in the cupola on the Nordoy's roof.

The rooftop also offers sun loungers and a a jacuzzi, and there is always free-flowing Cava available.

Cafe Nordoy looks like a gilded speakeasy and serves food worthy of its gorgeous decor.

YOU SHOULD KNOW The cafe is for hotel guests only at breakfast, but is open to the public and fills up fast in the night hours. Book ahead if you want to eat there for dinner.
