Fodor's Expert Review St. Andrew's Scottish Guesthouse
1 David Remez St., 91086, Israel Fodor's Choice
Editor's Note: This property is currently undergoing renovations.
Built in the early 1930s as part of St. Andrew's Church, this inexpensive guesthouse is a well-tended and homey place to hang your hat. The comfortable library, the flower-filled garden, and the lounge with stone arches framing Old City views define the character of the place. There's a superb terrace with great views. Guest rooms are no-frills, but light and airy. Some rooms are larger than the others, but the views aren't as nice.
PROS
- serene atmosphere
- close to the German Colony
- delightful library, garden, and terrace
CONS
- no elevator
- no restaurant
- scant breakfast options
