Fodor's Expert Review B&B Batia & Claude

Batia's and Claude's bed-and-breakfast is quiet and private, hidden behind masses of hot pink bougainvillea. There are two units to choose from: the "Provence" is a ground-level apartment with a little garden and patio. Furnished in antique French provincial style (Batia and Claude are avid collectors), the rooms include armchairs and a pull-out sofa in the large living area, plus a good-size bedroom and kitchenette. The two-level "Green Room" is a studio furnished with art-deco touches. Olives from the yard, local cheeses, and homemade bread and jam make breakfast special; it costs NIS 80per couple.
