Fodor's Expert Review Isrotel Dead Sea Resort and Spa
Off Rte. 90, Ein Bokek, Southern District, 8693000, Israel Fodor's Choice
Walk into the nine-story Isrotel and look to your left at the gorgeous wooden wall carved with date palms and fruit; this hotel puts an emphasis on being a part of the natural world. It's one of the few with real grass outside, and the outdoor pool is gargantuan. A golf cart takes you to the private beach across the road. The gracious spa includes an indoor sulfur pool and a Dead Sea–water pool that has both indoor and outdoor sections. Nonguests can enjoy a dairy lunch at the hotel's excellent dining hall, or a meat dinner that includes drinks and beer. If your budget allows, get a room on the Moab floors, which have upgraded amenities and access to the business lounge.
