If you feel a little hungry during your tour of the Islamic architectural treasures, make a short detour to Zezo, which has made excellent inexpensive sogoq (spicy sausage) sandwiches served with piquant pickled vegetables. These are hot and spicy and not for the faint of tongue. The little hole-in-the-wall café has been run by the same family since the 1960s.
