A new crop of all-inclusive resorts is emerging across the country, and you’ll find them dotted across Wyoming, Montana, Utah, Arizona, Texas, and Colorado. These dude ranches appeal to even the most adamant city slickers, offering an array of activities that will make you feel like a bona fide cowboy. One of our favorites, Paradise Guest Ranch in Buffalo, Wyoming, is situated on more than a million acres of forest and features activities like fly fishing, trail riding, and overnight pack trips. There’s even a children’s rodeo.
For more of a summer-camp vibe, check out the resorts spread across the Poconos and the Northeast. Typically situated on a lake, these resorts are chock-full of activities for the whole family. Woodloch Resort in Hawley, Pennsylvania is a veritable year-round amusement park.
