The ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ Gas Station Is Now a Road Trip Pit Stop

The Gas Station

Fans of the 70s horror classic Texas Chainsaw Massacre can now not only visit the iconic Last Chance Gas station, they can grab a bite to eat as well. The Gas Station, formerly Hills Prairie Grocery Store and Bilbo’s Texas Landmark, was converted into a bed-and-barbecue attraction after it was bought by entrepreneur Roy Rose. The Gas Station touts barbecue and several cabins that come fully stocked with a library of classic horror movies. And, naturally, they host Halloween-appropriate events like screenings of Texas Chainsaw 3D as well as an event on Oct. 30 and 31 where enthusiasts can meet several of the actors who’ve appeared in the grisly franchise.
