Top Rooms From $100 a Night During NYC’s First-Ever Hotel Week

Rates at some of the best hotels in town are dropping to as little as $100 per night—and will stay that low through Martin Luther King Weekend—to celebrate New York’s first Hotel Week, from January 6 to January 15, 2012.

The four hotels offering one-night stays for $100 include the new, sleek Z NYC Hotel in Long Island City; Midtown’s ultra-mod Pod Hotel; the centrally-located Hotel @ Times Square; and nyma, the new york manhattan hotel, just a short walk from the Empire State Building and Macy’s Herald Square. To get the special rate at these hotels, call to book and mention Hotel Week.

The rest of Hotel Week’s deals can be booked online: For $200 per night, snag a room at the luxe Andaz Wall Street or at the new Hyatt 48Lex (make sure "HWPR" is in the special offer code field); or for $250 per night, stay at the city’s trendy Gansevoort Meatpacking or Gansevoort Park Avenue.

Hotel Week is the brainchild of Nancy J. Friedman Public Relations, which represents six of eight properties participating. The firm is hoping to make this an annual event. [USA Today]
