In today’s #NotBadNews, we look at the Obamas’ graduation ceremony and your newest read.
Welcome to #NotBadNews, our new (and hopefully short-lived) daily column where we round up the good, surprising, and weird things that have happened around the world during this coronavirus pandemic.
Harry Potter Read by Harry Potter
After looking at your computer for an entire workday, the last thing many people want to do after is read—eyes need a little R&R too. While revisiting the Harry Potter series might be on your quarantine checklist, the actual act of doing it can be a little more tiring than originally planned. Well worry no more, because this star is doing the brunt of the work for you.
Daniel Radcliff–aka Harry Potter–is reading us Harry Potter.

The actor who grew up in the series is now getting a chance to read for more than just Harry.
And While We’re on the Topic of Books
Whether you were one of the many who loved the series or one of the many who hate-read the books, we have good news for you. Stephanie Meyer is releasing a new take on Twilight this summer entitled Midnight Sun, which will retell the same stories through vampire lead Edward Cullen’s lens.
Stephenie Meyer on new book ‘Midnight Sun’ which comes out August 4: “Hopefully this book can be a fun distraction from the real world. I’m so excited to finally be able to share it with you.” https://t.co/rJFjktp50S pic.twitter.com/hdp1xgsiKX

Maybe a vampire-teen-romance is exactly what we need to get us through lockdown. And by August, who knows, maybe this could be your vacation beach read!
A Museum Tour Unlike Others
We have seen that classic art museums and historic churches have taken to the internet to offer virtual tours, giving those at home a chance to escape, but one virtual museum stands out from the rest. The Ghibli Museum in Japan has created a YouTube channel to walk you through their atypical art museum.

This museum showcases the works of Studio Ghibli and even offers larger than life replicas of fan-favorite characters. For Ghibli fans who have yet to make it oversees, set aside an afternoon for an online tour of the spectacularly whimsical museum.
This Brown Bear’s Shocking Reveal
After not being spotted for over 150 years, a Brown Bear was once again seen in northwestern Spain. The park has done work to make the area suitable for bears, so this appearance has excited the rangers.

Elusive or newly introduced? Unsure. What is clear is that it has a great home in this Spanish park!
A Star-Studded Graduation Ceremony
Former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama have teamed up with Reach Higher to host a virtual graduation ceremony. The event will include special guests from the likes of Lady Gaga to Zendaya to Secretary Condoleezza Rice. This virtual event is their way to honor the graduates of 2020 who are not getting the ceremony they expected.
I know how hard the #Classof2020 has worked to make it to graduation, so @BarackObama and I want to give you the celebration you deserve. That’s why @ReachHigher and I are teaming up with @Youtube to host a virtual graduation on June 6! RSVP at https://t.co/TPcaSy43B8. pic.twitter.com/glLadzlZux
