Ice Skating Deal at Rockefeller Center: $7.50 for 75th Anniversary

Ice skating at Rockefeller Center is a must-do activity while visiting New York in winter, and in honor of landmark’s 75th anniversary, a fantastic deal is being offered for the next month—where you can save more than 50%.

Starting tomorrow through February 7, 2012, it will only cost $7.50 to skate—including rentals. Pricing during this time of year is usually $21 for adults and $16.50 for children under 11.

The Rockefeller Center Ice Skating Rink opened on December 25, 1936, and was the first outdoor rink of its kind in the city. Skaters were able to lace up skates inside, and take turns around the rink to music day or night.
