Where Should I Stay?
While there are lots of places to stay in Munich, we recommend the Eden-Hotel Wolff. Not only is it a gorgeous hotel where German charm meets mid-century modern amenities, it’s in the perfect location for an Oktoberfest vacation.
Around a 15-minute walk from Theresienwiese, the park where Oktoberfest takes place, Eden-Hotel Wolff is close enough to the festivities to make calling it a night pretty easy and far enough away from the noise to let you get some sleep.
There’s also a spa with a sauna, steam bath, and solarium which are all great for nursing hangovers.
If you plan on engaging in any non-beer-related activities (and why not, since you’ve come so far for so cheap?) you’ll find the central station—which connects to all the public transportation in the city—right across the street. Here’s a Munich guide to get you started.
