Delta Now Offers Wi-Fi on Shuttle Flights

Delta Airlines has announced that the company will now offer in-flight Wi-Fi services (access fees for Internet provider Gogo’s services are listed from $12.95) on its frequent shuttle flights between LaGuardia Airport in New York and Boston’s Logan, DC’s National, and Chicago’s O’Hare airports. "Wi-Fi offers travelers the flexibility and tools to stay connected at 30,000 feet, enabling them to send email or finish a presentation before they reach their destination," said Gail Grimmett, Delta’s senior vice president. Delta currently has 550 Wi-Fi equipped aircraft, and plans to raise that number to 800 by this summer. The upgrades are part of the airline’s $2 billion dollar improvement plan, which also includes the expansion and renovation of terminals at both LaGuardia and John F. Kennedy airports in New York, along with the addition of new flights and destinations to its current service offerings.
