Lottie Gross

Lottie is a UK-based journalist published in the likes of AFAR, National Geographic Traveller, Departures and BBC Radio 4. After living in London for six years, she escaped to the country in 2020 and is now usually found hiking in the hills around Oxfordshire with her dog. She has been writing about travel since 2012 and covers any subject or destination, from the ethics of wildlife experiences to off-beat Spanish festivals. She has a particular passion for India, having visited more times than she can remember, and she adores writing stories with a human angle. Consistently challenging perceptions, she can tell you where to find the coolest creatives in some of Britain's lesser-visited cities, or which corners of the country will surprise and delight you. She's a digital editor, with a degree in multimedia journalism, and has lectured for the likes of Cambridge University and the British Guild of Travel Writers.
