FAQs

GTGs

What are GTGs?

GTG stands for “Get-To-Gether.” You might see this acronym posted in various topics around the forums. These gatherings of Fodor’s members and other travelers are organized by fellow members wherever there is interest. There have been successful GTGs in cities around the world.

How are GTGs organized?

GTGs are organized by members. Typically someone starts a topic and asks if anyone is interested in attending a GTG in a particular city. Often members post when they will travel to a certain city and then inquire if anyone wants to meet while they’re in town. Planners should start a new topic in the Fodor’s Forum that corresponds with the GTG, add the appropriate destination tags, and mention “GTG” in the headline of their post so that others looking for future GTGs can easily find it.
