CDG to Paris transportation
Help please!
In the past we have taken the Roissy bus from the airport to the terminal at the Opera Garnier and walked to the hotel we stayed at, but we have never stayed across the rive r before. My question is: would we be better off to take a cab to the apartment from the airport or would it be better to take a bus to the terminal and then a cab to the apartment? I would appreciate any suggestions. Thank you!

If you can manage the RER/Métro with your luggage, you can board at CDG (T1 or T2) and exit at the Métro station closest to your apartment. Fare 8.40€
Depending upon where you are going, there is the Air France bus to Montparnasse - 15€
I recommend a taxi, about 50€.
There are also several shuttle companies you may want to consider:

This is a private car service, not like most shuttles that share with others or you have to call etc.
This one will be waiting outside secured passport control exit with your name on a sign, take your luggage and you are off. They will watch for delays of your flight and adjust if needed.
I use them regularly and I have told many, many about their service.
Was in Paris recently and used them and I also have reservations with them for a Dec. trip
Rnjoy..

Across the river can mean many things. See if one of the four lines of the Air France bus (open to travellers on any airline of course) suits you:
