Sandi, my plane leaves for Rome three weeks from TODAY--yippee! I was there once, 20 years ago.
Your photo collection is stunning and has really whetted my appetite for getting there. I will share this with my husband too.
Many thanks. kk in TX

Thanks kk. I'm in Dallas by the way. My trip report outlines several nice long walks from which many of the images were taken. Highly recommend climbing to the "cupola", the dome of St. Peter's. 300+ steps, about as difficult as the Arch in Paris or the duomo in Florence.

Loved your photos. Also your trip report; I don't recall if I thanked you for it, as I've been following yours, ekscrunchy's and rosetravels' concurrently.
I miss Rome! Thank you for sharing your experiences.

Thank you sandi, your photos are gorgeous! And now I am more "homesick" for Italy than ever, sigh.
You two are a darling couple..I am so glad you had such a wonderful trip. Wishing you many more.

You certainly have to let things roll of your back when you travel, that's for sure. You encounter too many things that could potentially ruin your mood and entire trip. We can't get enough of Italy and hope to return soon. I think the next couple of trips will be to L.A. to visit my newborn neice and to NYC to visit EK! (don't worry EK, we'll give you fair warning)
