PRAGUE IS 3 NIGHTS ENOUGH

We are planning to go to Prague in October we will arrive on the Wednesday afternoon and plan to leave on the saturday late afternoon.

Do you think this will be long enough to see all of Prague

Thanks

ALL of Prague? No.
Quite a bit of the most popular sights?
Yes.

It honestly depends on what you consider to be worth seeing so IMO it is impossible to give you any sort of reasonable/intelligent answer. You can easily, at a fast pace, see a great deal of the "usual" sites such as the Hus Square, the Castle Complex, Charles Bridge, etc., in one long day if you wanted to.

Never been to Prague. But I can tell you that you make the trip fit the time available.

Then enjoy it.

What about the who take a cruise on the medit. and have one day in a city/town.

You plan an itin. of what will fit and go with it.

Thanks

Ira, Elaine, Intrepid 1, Myer.

I wanted to see the main tourist attractions and look round few shops.

I thought if we stayed at Hotel Josef (old town) we would be quite central.

Which are the must see sights.

My son spent last year in Prague and said that it wasn't long enough!! Do get Elaine's file as it is really great. Just remember that on all trips you try and touch on the basics and then hope that you can plan another trip to come back and see the rest?

Spebnt 3 days in Prague a few years ago and we saw plenty with tiring ourselves. Of course it always nice to stay longer but enjoy the time you have, shop, see the usual stuff and then plan on going back again some day. You can't see everything in one trip. It is a beautiful city and worth 3 days of your trip.

We were in Prague in May for 3 days. We had wonderful busy days and saw lots of sights. I really would of rather had a couple of more days - but I wouldn't trade the 3 we had. It is a great city with lots of history.

Enjoy whatever time you have there. We loved it!

We had three nights in Prague last summer and it was barely enough, but not too short to be worthless. Good idea to stay at a hotel in the center of the historic sites, so you can walk from there and not waste time commuting. Prague is enchanting.
