Triple room in Paris' 7th?

Next month, my husband and I are returning to Paris, our honeymoon spot (albeit with our 7 year old son). I have an author's conference at the International School (metro: Passy) one of the days we'll be there. I'm hoping to find either a 2-3 star hotel or an apartment near Rue Cler (my husband's a foodie). Hopefully less than $200 US/night.
I'm sorry to say after reading the parisperfect thread, i too feel a wee bit suspicious (I'm a reporter! I'm paid to be cynical!). In fact, it's kind of hard to know what to trust on any Internet board, but I'm asking anyway. Thanks in advance for sincere, honest answers!

Hi SBM, welcome to Fodors. If you look at the top of the current page you'll see a Text Search box. Into that box type "Paris Triple Room Seventh," disregard the country menu to the right, and press "find." Many messages on this very subject will appear in the left hand column. (rue Cler is in the seventh arrondissement of Paris)

Having said that, I think Le Muguet, near rue Cler has at least one triple room. The hotel is a two-star that many Fodorites enjoy, including moi.

Oops, type "Triple Room Paris 7th" into the Text Search box. Fourteen messages will appear.

Both the Hotel Duquesne-Eiffel and Hôtel de France have triple/quad rooms for under $200. They are my preferred hotels in Paris and each is within 3 blocks of rue Cler. The Hôtel Duquesne is a 3***, the de France is a recently renovated 2**.

Well, maybe I'll get it right the third time: Omit the quotation marks from the title. Type in Triple Room Paris 7th.
