Santa Fe- Accomodation Suggestions
DH and I have been going to SF for 20 years and stay in one of the hotels on or near the Plaza. This year though, 2 girlfriends and I plan to spend 4 or 5 days there in late April, early May.
We could each get a room or contact the hotels about suites that might accommodate 3, but I think it might be nice to have a place within walking distance of the Plaza where we could have our own bedrooms and 2 or 3 full bathrooms.
Any suggestions of attractive condos or homes within walking distance of the Plaza that you're familiar with? I'm checking vrbo, but would like any specific suggestions.
Thanks, annie

annie, I absolutely agree about renting a place -- house or large condo -- to have space and more bathrooms. It will be more realistic to find 2 bathrooms as these are small historic areas. And with 3 baths, you will pay out the wazooo for just 3 people.
We use vrbo.com and santaferentals.com
I just got in from dinner but will be back to recommend some areas. You have the right idea and will give you a more enjoyable stay and may save you a little $$ as well!
(p.s. spend the savings on Ten Thousand Waves )

Sorry, but no. However, the last one is my choice $-for$. Canyon Road is a great area for lodging, restaurants and the galleries. No hotels but private rentals only.
If they can give you an address or nearest cross street that would help. Some I can tell where the neighborhood is and others not so much.
What month are you going? If you're going in the warmer months the courtyards would be a wonderful addition.

My family rented a casita last July from twocasitas.com and it was very nice. Just a few blocks from the plaza. It was so nice to have a comfortable place to go back to between outings and to not have to eat out every meal.
