Zion National Park
 

Hi fellow travelers,

Just completed writing up a summary of my experiences out in Zion National Park (back in April of this year). It was a wonderful experience, however short my time there was. It was one of the highlights of a 10 day road trip I did in the Southwest desert region of the United States.

I had such a blast there that I decided to dedicate an article to focus all about Zion. I wrote it in hopes of sharing some helpful hints and my experience, along with photos I took. I hope it helps provide some inspiration for future Zion travelers, or at least give them a few tips.

For people who have been to Zion before, it isn't a comprehensive article on the area, just a brief summary of my time spent there. If anything seems a bit off, please let me know and I will change it.

Eric, now I am even more excited about our upcoming September 2018 trip to Zion! Your pictures and commentary are great!! I'm sharing your article with my traveling companion. Thank you so much!!

I will not be hiking Angels Landing - last year in Multnomah Falls, my trail gave way close to the edge and I was thankful for switchbacks. My husband and friends were able to get to me quickly as I rolled down 50 feet. I pick my trails very carefully now.

Eric - I am in Zion now (we are staying at the lovely Desert Pearl Inn) and are doing the Narrows tomorrow. This morning, we keft our hotel at 6 to do the short Watchman and the line for the shuttle at 8 on our way back was insane! Early is best out here.
