Your Favorite Travel Websites!

Hello, a group of fellow travellers and I are putting together a travel resources website and are looking for everyone to tell us their favorite travel websites (other than Fodors... we already know fodors is great!) Please post your favorite sites for reservations, information, photo galleries, maps, etc. etc.

Thanks!

Before automatically including the Lonely Planet website, I suggest you take the time to read samplings from all the various boards. There's a lot of foul and vulgar language used there.
Also, it targets the backpacker very low budget traveler.
Just a thought............

My suggestion would be:

http://www.ricksteves.com

Lonely Planets message board can be bad. 50% of it seems to be bad language and antagonistic remarks.
But the rest of the site can be informative there is nothing wrong with targetting the budget traveller is there?

Loney Planet does have interesting information on its regular site. I agree with the above posters, however, that the boards are extremely offensive and therefore, worthless. It is unfortunate that Lonely Planet cannot/does not clean up the mess so that legitimate questions can be answered with helpful responses.

A favorite spot of mine is www.epinions.com

I used to post on Lonely Planet fairly frequently, but in recent months, I've just quit reading it entirely. Most of the posts are "How can I work illegally in the US?", "Where can I stay for $5 a night?", or "How safe is hitchhiking in the US?"

One of my favorites:
www.igougo.com
