Yountville lodging

We will be attending a wedding in Napa in Feb. 07 and need to decide between Villagio, Vintage Inn and Yountville Inn.

Also, is anyone familiar with the Nannies of the Valley au pair service?

Thank you!

Hi there! I repsonded to your Tripadvisor question also. We have enjoyed a couple of nice stays at the Yountville Inn. Nice pool, jacuzzi, breakfast, rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Have fun! ***kim*** ((f))

We stayed at the Vintage Inn for 2 nights in June. The grounds were nice and the breakfast was much better than I anticipated, but I was not overall impressed with the room. The hotel certainly tries to offer amenities of more luxurious lodging (such as a bottle of wine delivered to your room on check-in, bathrobes, large bath with froo froo toiletries), but I honestly thought the room looked like a really fancy motel room. Also, it was very close to the highway which meant it was somewhat noisy. For the $280/night we paid while we were there, I would *hope* that there are other places a little nicer in that price range in Yountville.

Altho not one of the hotels listed by teh original poster (maybe wedding party has choosen the 3 hotels to choose from?) FYI there is IMHO a much bewtter place to stay in Yountville:
LAvender a Four Sisters Inn. =My choice would be the courtyard rooms....huge private ground floor patio, giant bathrooms, hor dourves and usualy wine in afternoon and fabulous breakfasts and cookies.
Four Sisters also has MAison Fleure in Yountville(some rooms are small so ask at booking), Blackbird Inn, a really nice craftsman house in Napa city proper very close to Copia
and 2 vey nice Inns in Sonoma...also Inns in Washington and other parts of Californis too.
I have stayed in most of these INNs and for my money LAvender is wonderful..almost like having your own ground floor appartment...

We really liked the Villagio; our upstairs room was very large, with a marvelous bathroom and a small balcony--plus a fireplace. The buffet breakfast could feed an entire football team.
