Yountville CA-lodging
I have read everything I can find on these three hotels:
Napa Valley Lodge Yountville Inn Vintage Inn We want to stay in Yountville, want an outdoor jacuzzi, decent breakfast, fireplace, and walking distance to restaurants at night. I think all three of these hotels fit the bill. The all run pretty close in price. Which one is the best and why? Closest to restaurants? Cleanest? I appreciate any and all opinions. |
Hi
Napa Valley Lodge is the furthest out (really an extra block) and has the best vineyard views. Rooms at Yountville Inn are the newest, but generally quite dark unless you get a large cottage. Haven't stayed at Vintage Inn, but it is very popular and we're splitting hairs but it is closest to restaurants. (The town is two-three blocks long). Why did you rule out Villagio? They have the best breakfasts. |
Only stayed at the Yountville Inn. Large vaulted ceiling rooms with sitting area and fireplace, French Doors open to private patio overlooking stream, and vineyards in the background. Excellent breakfast, pool area and walking distance to all the restaurants.

Hi MBNancy
That's interesting- My wife and I saw one of those French door rooms, and were really impressed, but many more of the rooms are in two story units that don;t get light during the day. Maybe ask to see which room you will be getting first since they are so different? |
Peterman:
Villagio is booked the weekend we are going. Thanks for replies. The Vintage will be about 150-175 cheaper for 3 nights. That is not a huge amount but it does save a little. If one of the others was a lot closer or better, I am willing to spend the extra. |
