Scarlett, Blacktie is back?

Tandoori_Girl Sep 19th, 2004 07:24 AM

((^)) ((b)) ((d))

Scarlett Sep 19th, 2004 07:25 AM

LOL. TG, no... more like a rabid fan that has turned on one of us.

I will stay above it I will stay above it......

How is your weather btw?
We woke to an amazing sunny dry day too! Breezey, and butterflies everywhere! I had to put out more hummingbird food too, so the little creatures are doing well in the midst of this weather.
Have a good day~ ((F))

I think we've all just snapped.

It is exhausting not knowing and it is exhausting knowing.

Everyone's nerves are frayed.

Cuor, I don't know you and don't know what you've been through but please try and smile.

I am so jealous, you with your hummingbirds. They aren't around here, or I've not seen any at least.
We've had some great little owls hooting in the hood. Tiny ones. Lots of geckos out. My night blooming cerius was blooming this week too.

Ahhhhh. The sound of love on the internet.

Scarlett Sep 19th, 2004 07:33 AM

Speaking of snapping, we still have trees falling here!
While the man across the street had a huge water oak lie down gently on his house during the storm (Frances), last night a big pine lay down not so gently on another neighbors pool!

GoTravel, I popped over to the beach yesterday. It was packed. And lots of waves (which we gulf-siders don't see much of), lots of breeze, really nice. I wish I could kick my renter out. I'd be gulfside right now. And later at sunset, drink in hand. ;;)

Pine trees grow like weeds in Florida but Scarlett I'll bet the roots of that pine weren't deep, were they? They are tall on the top, short on roots. Kind of scary. Had it been leaning? My neighbors tree did that years ago, just missing my car. And there hadn't been a hurricane.

BUT...did you get salt water onto your property? Could have gotten into the tree. There might be lots of stuff falling over if that's the case.

Thank you gotravel.
These two (I think women) sound like they are friends, one minute very mean and the next minute acting nice. I am going to start my trip planning on another board, hoping to stay out of the line of fire here. I don't like it, and I want some better way to keep my mind off things.
