I am actually considering going back this next summer. I didn't get to hike Halfdome and I am also considering hiking from tent to tent in the High Sierra Camps. This would be luxory backpacking.

If you could drive to Sequoia National Park, I really like the trees there better than Yosemite or the Redwoods. However, if you can't then don't miss the trees in Yosemite(maripossa grove).
