Yosemite National Park

My Husband, myself and 7 year old daughter plan to do Yosemite in June 2018. We have no idea about anything. Need help on where to stay, what activities are there, how do we sign up. Pls share.

The internet is your friend.

Start here: https://www.yosemite.com/things-to-do/

Then Google "Things to do at Yosemite" - you'll find scores of links with useful information.

It's all there if you are willing to spend a little time and effort reading.

No need to sign up for anything. The activities basically all consist of using your feet and your eyes. Nothing else required.

As for lodging, do whatever you can to stay in the park. At this point your best option may be to book a tent in Half Dome (aka Curry) Village.

I would start at the official Yosemite website:
https://www.nps.gov/yose/index.htm

I can help with one question.

> what activities are there

About the only activity that will interest most people is viewing one of the most awe-inspiring, beautiful spots on this planet. Here's a small sample:

You have two threads. This one asks about Yosemite and the other is a basic inquiry about driving between San Francisco and Los Angeles which most would assume refers to the coastal road. Unless you have a week to do both, you'll have to decide between the two ideas.
