Sausilito restaurant recommendations

I'm heading to SF in a few weekends and am considering walking or biking across the Golden Gate Bridge (have been to SF many times but have never done this). What are some good places to have a casual lunch in Sausilito if we decide to walk or bike there after crossing the bridge and take the ferry back?

Thanks in advance.

I've heard that Fish (331fish.com) is supposed to be good.

Hamburgers!
The best burgers ever. You get it to go and can sit and watch the bay while you eat!

Thanks, those are a couple good suggestions. I'd read about the hamburger place on here but didn't realize it was actually called Hamburgers ;-).

And I realized after I posted that I misspelled Sausalito.

Not sure you would want to walk/bike the Bridge and continue on to Sausalito, it is all highway on the other side of the bridge and ALL UPHILL, and I mean UPHILL. Unless there is a biking trail now, some locals may be able to give you more info.

That said, take the ferry over with the bike and ride around the area, and take the ferry back.

Travelbuff may be a little confused, it is actually DOWNHILL from the Bridge into Sausalito and thousands of bicyclists take this route without incident.

It is a very large hill you go down to get to Sausalito. It is kind of scary when there are cars or buses behind you. But, the ride over the bridge is awesome! Then, have lunch and take the ferry back. You won't regret it!

Go pick up a picnic at Mollie Stones and eat on the benches in front of the Bay Model. (assuming you bike)

Travelbuff seems to be referring to the freeway (101) which does go uphill. But the road into Sausalito is not the freeway, and it is downhill.
