Yosemite Hikes

I read that everyone does the Vernal Falls trail which is relatively easy and very picuturesque.

How strenuous is the hike from Glacier Point to Sentinal Falls? I hope I am describing the right trail accurately. Is it scarry--no guardrails? How long does it take?

What about the hike from Glacier Point to Nevada Falls? I believe this is more of a downhill trek and can be very steep. Is that correct?

You will get somewhat objective info here.

I checked and it's called the Panorama Trail, and it's on the above list.

The latter, that is. The one to Sentinal falls--I don't know. You need to get out on the internet and hunt this stuff down.

I've hiked the Panorama trail...it goes from Glacier Point all the way to the valley floor, and passes Nevada and Vernal Falls on the way. You can take a shuttle to Glacier Point and walk down...definitely easier than walking up.

When coming down the Panorama, be sure and take The Mist Falls Trail not The John Muir Trail.

As noted above, this hike -- called the Panorama Trail -- is most definitely downhill, and points of it are quite steep.
