Yosemite Help
 

We're planning a visit to Yosemite in July (we're attending a wedding in Lk. Tahoe and will make the most of the area at that time), and we are having trouble getting reservations in the park. Any one have experience ( good or bad) with the lodging just west of Yosemite? We don't want luxury, but not bare bones either. Thanks.

Try the Tenaya Lodge, I think it's in Fish Camp or try the Shiloh Inn in Oakhurst. The Wawona may also be fun gor you if you want to be just a bit closer to the park.

Try the Yosemite View Lodge in El Portal. It's the closest outside hotel to the park and is actually closer to Yosemite Valley than a lot of the in-park accommodations. It's number is 800-321-5261. Website:<BR>http://www.yosemite-motels.com

Keep trying daily for Yosemite Valley. There are many cancellations.

Do a search for Yosemite Scenic Wonders vacation rentals. They rent studio condos, loft condos, duplexes, and vacation homes. We stayed with them several times, and have good experiences. E-mail with questions.
