Yellowstone/Tetons/Jackson Hole

We are booked for a tour through this area in July(I know, hot hot) but wondered about getting into town to connect with tour after arrival in J.H. airport. Is there a shuttle? Hotel does not provide transportation.
Thanks so much

There is a shuttle for about $15/person or cabs are about $25-30 for up to 2 people.

Forgot to add - we were there in July a few years ago and had gorgeous weather the entire 2 weeks, so I wouldn't assume hot.

May I ask how long and who you booked it with, please?

howmyr,

July in the Tetons and Yellowstone is not hot. It's usually pleasant in the high 70's, low 80's. It can get cold a night and you should actually be prepared for snow at any time. Not a frequent occurance, but not unusual!

Have fun!

Jackson Hole is at 6130 feet elevation. It is rarely hot. Can certainly be quite chilly at night. You need to bring a light jacket or fleece and long pants.

I know you are going in July, but if you are a skier and get a chance, return in the winter - JH is an awesome ski town & the slopes are fabulous!
