In Tetons, you can easily walk around Jenny Lake; on another day take the short boat ride over to Hidden and go up to Inspiration Point; also coming into Tetons from eastern entrance is lovely as you approach Jackson Lk; scenery is gorgeous. Yellowstone another matter-- fascinating, interesting, but not always gorgeous. Mt Washburn is rather bleak, barren; the hilly Canyon area is gorgeous as it gets. We thought the northwest leg rather uninteresting as you approach exit for WYellowstone coming north from Old Faithful. But we didnt hike there much. Too many miles to drive.

I expect to have the 55-250 on the camera quite a bit. Wildlife moves but scenery doesn't.

We'll be staying 2 nights (2 days) in Old Faithful area, 3 nights (3 days) in Canyon area and 3 nights (2 days plus a morning) in GT. So I'm putting together things of interest for each area.
