Yankee Stadium

Getting tickets for a Yankees game.
Where would you sit in the stadium?
Going to get tickets from StubHub.

Where I would sit is in the box seats between hone and first base- as close to the Yankee dugout as possible.

This is Field Championship boxes, sections 19 to 33 (odd numbers only) and no further back than Row D. They're pricey but the views are great and you really feel you're in the game. That's what we buy when we get a chance to go. (Also you get the padded seats and waitress service - although the food isn't any better.)

Loge box MVP on the third base side no further out than 464.
What NY Traveler said along with Field Championship 33 to 51 box behind the Yankee dugout.

Going to 7/6 game. Starts at 8 but my husband needs to be there for batting practice. Probably around 6? Any suggestions for decent food near the stadium and subway exit? Coming from Mid-town. Millenium UN Plaza.

Thanks!

There are a couple of sports bars in the area - but emphasis on bars. You don;t want to visit the rest of the area.

Have a nice lunch and bit the bullet and eat something at the Stadium.

Also, you should know that Monument Park closes 45 minutes BEFORE game time - so you need to go there first - as soon as you get into the stadium - before finding your seats.

Hey mitraveler. Did you get your tix? I just had to postpone our trip this weekend (husband has pneumonia) and we have tix for this Sundays game. Great seats in main box. Let me know if you're interested. They are posted on ebay and NY craigslist.
