Yachats OR lodging help needed
 

Hello,
Several years ago, our family stayed at Deane's ocenside Lodge(I think that is right name)at Yachats. It was set on a large grassy yard area, directly on the ocean with very easy access to the beach.

Is this place still there? It was just a motel-type place with one or two cottages, as well.

Would really like to know any info you might have--still there?how is it?how close to town--walkable?

I know time fades memories, but I think I have everything right.

There were several seaside smaller hotel/motels in Yachats.

Try the See-Vue Lodge. Is this the one?

Thanks for the info. I checked Shamrock and that isn't it, although that looks nice. Haven't been able to find anything on the See-Vue but will keep looking.

I found the place! No wonder no one could identify it as its address is Waldport, not Yachats, and it is now named Soma Motel.

Now that I have the correct information, is anyone out there familiar with it? Would love to hear what you have to say.

Would appreciate any info about the Soma Motel near Waldport OR. Pros-cons-in general.
