Wyoming - Jackson Hole lodging and Yellowstone tour

Message: Hello, We are two adults planning to go to Jackson Hole in early March to ski and visit Yellowstone. I was wondering if someone can recommend a good place to stay -- something nice. I was looking at the Lodge at Jackson, the Wort Hotel and the Parkway Inn. I also noted the Rusty Parrot, the Inn on the Creek
Any suggestions. Some have packages with skiing so it makes it interesting.
We would also like to tour Yellowstone and do a snowmobile tour. Any recommended tour companies.
Would someone suggest that it is better to book a package deal that includes all of the above or is it better to do this individually in Jackson.

Thanks

If you can afford the Rusty Parrot (I can't) take it. It is gorgeous and perfectly located.

Thanks, I thought it was gorgeous too from their web site but it is expensive. The Wort Hotel looks nice too and so does the Lodge of Jackson Hole and it seems to be is a bit more economical and to have a lot of amenities and specials.

Do you know anything about those two properties?

Cheers

Sorry. I didn't see your reply till today. I do not have any information about the wort Hotel. We saw it but did not go in. The Lodge at Jackson was nice, but relatively ordinary. I liked the Snake River Lodge and the Inn on the Creek. We stayed at Signal Mountain which is located in the GT park. Our last night we stayed at the Davey Jackson Inn which was quite nice and very reasonably priced.

If you can manage, do try to stay at the Rusty Parrot. It was a nice break for us after visiting Yellowstone and Grand Tetons....fresh baked brownies on each floor in the evening, always available tea, lemonade, afternoon treats as well. Wonderful beds with fluffy comforters and pillows. If you can do it for a few days, highly recommended. Service is also exceptional and their front desk/concierge staff is extremely helpful!
