wynn las vegas

Okay everyone, someone out there must have sampled Wynn's new Las Vegas hotel. I would like to make a reservation--but their is nothing on his website that indicates there is even a pool. I'm sure eventually there will be one but we are travelling the middle of June and I don't need to remind anyone that it is hot hot hot in June.

Has anyone stayed at the Bellagio (my favorite pool scence) or Wynn that will sway me one way or the other?

Given that the hotel doesn't open until April 28, I think you'll have a hard time finding anyone who's stayed at both and compare.

jlm is right - Wynn doesn't open until the end of April, so it can't be compared to Bellagio, but it will have five pools and you can bet they'll be at least as nice as Bellagio since Steve Wynn's trying to outdo himself - and will most likely succeed since he always has in the past.

We were at the Bellagio when Steve Wynn announced his new project. To a person, every staff person we met who worked at the Ballagio while Wynn was in control said they wanted to go to work at "Mr. Wynn's new place." They all had amazing loyalty and respect for their former boss. They also noted he could be difficlut to work for because of his attention to detail and perfectionist, near OCD, tendencies, but he was fair and treated all of his good employees, down to the housekeeping staff, with respect. They felt the quality of service and concern for the customer and their experience had slipped since Wynn had left.

My husband is taking me to the WYNN hotel for my birthday the weekend it opens April 30th. I will let you know how it is..but I am SURE it will be beautiful. I've stayed at the Bellagio a couple of times already and Im sure this will top that. Can hardly wait.

I heard there's no pool, it's a LAKE!

bashfulLV Mar 30th, 2005 01:16 PM

clarkgriswold - you are wrong - yes, there is a lake, but there are also FIVE pools - I've talked to friends of mine who work there (I used to work for Steve Wynn and still know many who do) and they guarantee this place will be THE best. The website doesn't have any info on the pools, but if you're really interested, give them a call on the toll-free line 888-32-WYNN.

sorry about that - I left off a number - the toll-free number to Wynn Las Vegas is 888-320-WYNN .......

If you go to www.wynnlasvegas.com/
then find a vertical list that ends with:
employment
investors
about
click "about" and at the bottom of that page is a property map showing the pools in color
