Wyndham Washingotn or JW Marriott?
Which is better: Wyndham Washington or JW Marriott? Thanks, n

Ok riddler I give up. It's like asking which is better chocolate or vanilla. Try to be a little more specific in your needs and expectations. Are you a business traveller or a family of four going to see the sights? Do you need room service and a concierge to plan meetings, or do you need to be near the zoo?

Try to be a little more specific, and I bet you will recieve some specific pros and cons of each place.

Did not intend to be cryptic - new at this. Will be two 40ish (heavy on the 'ish') women going to a convention at the Reagan Convention Center who also want to see sights and absorb the whole D.C. experience. Better?

Much, try the JW imho its a superior property to the Wyndham. It should exceed your expectations.

The J.W. no doubt about it. A huge shopping/restaurant mall is connected to it. It is near EVERYTHING! If the weather is terrible, you don't even have to go outside, go down to the lobby.

I stayed at the JW and enjoyed being so close to everything . . . really right in the middle of the political/historical part of the city. We walked everywhere. The hotel itself was very nice, though pricey. I'm not familiar with the Wyndham.

Try quikbook.com for good rates in Washington. Just booked the Jefferson at a really good rate.
|
I'd try lodging.com also. I have inquired about D.C. hotels there before and saw the J.W. at this site.

Hi! I don't know when you're going, but we just booked a room at the JW in April for $94 per night. I called the 800 Marriott number and got the special, a much better deal than any of the internet sites. Good luck!
